The VLT FC 302 Automation Drives are motor-independent AC drives designed to control asynchronous AC induction motors, permanent magnet synchronous motors, AC induction servomotors, and synchronous reluctance motors.
Built on a modular platform, the series is intended for industrial, chemical, and marine applications such as pumps, conveyors, material handling equipment, hoists, steering gear, extruders, and palletizers. The drives support several control methods, including a local control panel, local digital I/O, industrial network connections, and wireless operation through the VLT Wireless Control Panel LCP 103 with MyDrive Connect. For commissioning and operation, the series includes pluggable spring-loaded I/O terminals, automatic motor adaptation, integrated brake control for hoists, droop for load sharing, an integrated process controller, and a motor power limit function. The FC 302 platform is offered across wide voltage and power ranges with enclosure options from IP20/Chassis through IP66/Type 4X, and it includes Safe Torque Off as standard along with functions that support preventive maintenance and condition-based monitoring.
