Product Description:
The 131N9312 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency mains power into a variable-frequency output that allows plant controllers to regulate the speed of induction motors. This capability supports controlled acceleration, deceleration, and continuous speed adjustment in conveyors, pumps, fans, and general process equipment. The drive is designed for installation inside a control cabinet and can be incorporated into networked automation systems that require precise motor control and efficient power use.
The power section accepts 380–500 VAC from a three-phase power supply. It delivers up to 1.1 kW, or 1.5 HP, of continuous output power to the connected motor. A built-in PROFINET MCA 120 option exchanges cyclic control words, operating commands, and status feedback over an Industrial Ethernet network. The IP20 chassis enclosure protects against accidental contact with internal components, while the surrounding cabinet provides additional protection from dust and moisture. Conducted electrical emissions are reduced by an integrated RFI filter, which helps limit interference transferred through the power wiring. The drive has no brake chopper, so regenerated energy must be handled by the mechanical system or suitable external braking equipment.
The housing uses the normal cabinet-mounting arrangement for A, B, and C frames, allowing it to follow the established frame dimensions and ventilation paths for this drive series. Standard cable glands support orderly routing of the mains, motor, control, and communication wiring into the cabinet. The circuit boards are uncoated, making the unit appropriate for clean indoor installations where corrosive vapor and heavy condensation are not present. No local control panel is installed, so operating parameters and commands are accessed through the network or compatible PC tools. The unit also has no mains option, and its configuration does not include additional B, C0, C1, or D option modules. Series Identifier 302 associates the unit with the corresponding FC 302 product generation and its compatible system components.
