Product Description:
The 134G9143 is a variable frequency drive built by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency mains power into a controlled three-phase output, allowing plant controllers to regulate induction-motor speed and torque without mechanical throttling. The drive supports pumps, fans, conveyors, and other material-handling equipment used in automated production lines. Its electronic control can match motor operation to changing process demands, reducing unnecessary energy use when full speed is not required. The compact configuration is intended for installations that need dependable motor control with direct access to operating parameters.
The drive uses a three-phase power input and accepts utility supplies within the 380–500 VAC range. Its inverter provides 1.5 kW of continuous output, corresponding to 2.0 HP for compatible motors. An IP21 / Type 1 enclosure protects against accidental contact and vertically dripping water when the unit is installed in a suitable indoor location. Standard cable entries simplify routing through the gland plate and provide organized access for power, motor, and control conductors. The uncoated circuit boards are suitable for clean indoor environments where corrosive gases, conductive dust, and excessive moisture are not present. A graphical local control panel provides access to operating values, setup menus, and diagnostic information through the standard language package. Expansion slots B, C0, C1, and D are unoccupied, leaving the drive configured without additional adaptation modules.
The A-slot contains an EtherNet/IP MCA 121 module, which supports real-time communication with compatible PLC and industrial Ethernet networks. An internal mains disconnect and fuse assembly provides local isolation and overcurrent protection on the input side. Surplus energy produced during rapid motor deceleration is managed by the built-in brake chopper, helping prevent excessive voltage on the DC link. An embedded RFI filter reduces conducted electrical emissions that could interfere with nearby equipment or the shared supply network. The communication module allows operating commands, reference values, status information, and diagnostic data to move between the drive and a higher-level controller. Local isolation supports controlled shutdown of the drive during service, while the input fuses interrupt damaging fault current. The installed power features support applications with frequent speed changes and controlled stopping cycles.
