Product Description:
The FC-302PK37T5E20H1X is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss within the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It belongs to the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group and regulates the speed and torque of induction motors in automated machinery. By adjusting motor operation to match changing load demand, the drive can reduce unnecessary energy use in pumps, conveyors, fans, and other process equipment. Its compact design is intended for installation in control cabinets, where standard communication connections support integration with industrial control systems.
The electrical section accepts a mains input of 380 - 500 VAC and operates with three-phase power, allowing direct connection to common industrial supply networks. The converter provides a continuous mechanical output of 0.37 kW, corresponding to a shaft output of 0.50 HP. These output values indicate the continuous motor load that the converter can support under the applicable operating conditions. The model has no brake chopper, so an external dynamic braking resistor cannot be connected directly to the inverter. Applications requiring rapid deceleration must instead use a controlled stopping ramp, a mechanical brake, or another suitable braking arrangement.
The enclosure has an IP20 chassis protection rating, which protects against accidental finger contact with live components but does not provide protection from water. Installation inside a suitable cabinet is therefore required when the surrounding area contains dust, moisture, or other contaminants. Electrical noise suppression is provided by an integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, which reduces conducted electromagnetic interference and supports installations that must meet the applicable emission limits. The drive supports normal cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames, allowing it to align with compatible equipment in a panel arrangement. Adequate clearance around the chassis should be maintained so cooling air can circulate and wiring can be routed without obstructing the ventilation path.
