Product Description:
The 131N9237 is an AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency grid power into a modulated output so controllers can regulate induction motor speed and torque in conveyors, pumps, and other industrial machinery. By combining drive, braking, and network functions in a single chassis, the unit reduces the number of separate components required in an automation cabinet.
Rated electrical output reaches 4.0 kW under continuous duty. The input section accepts a 380–500 VAC input with three-phase power, allowing direct connection to common industrial mains without a transformer. Heat dissipation and airflow are coordinated for normal cabinet installations using frames A, B, and C. The IP20 chassis enclosure protects active parts against finger contact and ingress from large solid objects. A built-in brake chopper manages regenerated energy during rapid motor deceleration by directing excess energy to a suitable braking resistor. The drive has no integrated mains option, so the rectifier connects directly to the supply and can be paired with an external line reactor when the installation requires additional harmonic mitigation.
An RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter reduces conducted electrical noise that could affect neighboring equipment. Fieldbus integration is provided through the EtherNet/IP MCA 121 interface, enabling control data and drive diagnostics to travel over standard Ethernet infrastructure. The MCB 107 24 V DC backup supply keeps the control logic and communications active during a loss of mains power. Users interact with the drive through the graphical local control panel, which provides access to operating values, parameters, alarms, and status information. Standard cable entries support organized power and control wiring inside the cabinet. The printed circuit board assembly is uncoated, making the drive most appropriate for controlled cabinet environments without persistent condensation or corrosive airborne contaminants. Adaptation and software options are not installed, leaving the available option positions open for compatible application-specific add-ons.
