Product Description:
The 131B0034 is a variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency mains power into a controllable three-phase output for regulating the speed and torque of compatible AC motors. This control supports variable-speed operation in automated pumps, fans, conveyors, and other low-power machinery. Adjusting motor output to match process demand can reduce unnecessary energy consumption and limit mechanical stress during acceleration or deceleration.
Continuous motor output is rated at 0.55 kW, making the drive suitable for low-power motion and process-control tasks. The input section accepts 380–500 VAC from a three-phase power supply, which is compatible with common 400 V industrial distribution systems. An IP20 chassis enclosure provides basic protection against accidental contact with internal electrical parts when the unit is installed inside a suitable control cabinet. The normal cabinet orientation maintains airflow through the drive and helps internal heat escape without obstructing adjacent equipment. Its printed circuit boards are uncoated, so the installation area should remain clean, dry, and free from conductive dust or corrosive contaminants. The chassis uses standard metric cable gland openings for organized routing of mains, motor, and control wiring.
Electromagnetic interference is reduced by an integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, which helps limit conducted emissions through connected power cables. The drive has no brake chopper, so applications requiring rapid regenerative braking must use suitable external braking equipment. Operator access is provided through a graphical local control panel that displays operating values, adjustable parameters, status information, and fault codes. The graphical interface supports direct navigation through drive settings without requiring a separate display device. Optional expansion modules are not installed in slots A, B, C0, C1, or D, leaving the unit with its baseline control configuration. No line-side mains option is included, so disconnecting and protective devices must be provided separately as part of the electrical installation. The unit also has no special adaptation, preserving the standard electrical and mechanical configuration associated with this model.
