The 134G7608 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. The controller modulates incoming power to regulate the speed and torque of induction motors used in material-handling, pumping, and process applications. Closed-loop control allows the drive to respond to changing loads while maintaining the commanded operating profile. Its protective enclosure also permits installation near machinery when the mounting location satisfies the drive’s operating requirements.
The drive accepts a line supply of 380–500 VAC from a three-phase power network. It provides a controllable motor output rated at 2.2 kW, which corresponds to approximately 3.0 HP. Electrical components are protected by an IP54/Type 12 N3R enclosure that resists airborne dust and splashing liquids. A built-in brake chopper manages regenerated energy during rapid deceleration, while safe-stop logic can control an external brake when required. Users access drive settings and operating information through the Graphical Local Control Panel. European metric cable entries accommodate compatible glands, and a panel gasket helps maintain the stated ingress protection. The printed circuit boards do not have a conformal coating, so the installation area must remain within the permitted humidity limits.
The A-slot contains a PROFIBUS DP V1 MCA 101 interface for communication with compatible industrial control networks. The B-slot contains an MCB-101 general-purpose I/O card, which expands the available input and output connections for external devices. The D-slot provides an MCB-107 24 V DC backup supply that keeps the control electronics energized during brief interruptions of mains power. Electromagnetic compatibility is supported by an integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, which reduces conducted interference at the incoming supply. No C0 or C1 extension card is installed, and the mains option bay is empty. The drive uses the standard language pack and carries the series identifier 302.
