Product Description:
The 131U0010 is an AC variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It regulates the speed and torque of three-phase induction motors used in pumps, conveyors, and general machine control. This capability allows motor operation to follow real-time process demand while supporting installation in standard automation cabinets.
This model accepts an input of 380–500 VAC and uses three-phase power. The mains section rectifies the incoming supply and channels it to an inverter stage rated for a motor output of 2.2 kW. The chassis has an IP20 protection rating, so the drive is intended for installation inside an enclosure that prevents direct contact and exposure to airborne moisture. Standard cabinet mounting supports A, B, and C frames, while an integral heat sink removes operating heat without requiring a separate cooling assembly. The printed circuit boards do not have a conformal coating, so the surrounding cabinet should provide suitable protection from dust, condensation, and corrosive contaminants. Standard cable entries simplify the gland plate layout, and accessible power terminals support organized wiring when adjacent automation equipment is installed nearby.
An integrated fieldbus slot contains the PROFINET MCA 120 A-option card, enabling cyclic input and output data exchange with controllers that use Industrial Ethernet. A brake chopper manages regenerative energy produced when the connected motor decelerates. The MCB-107 24 V DC backup D-option module supports the control electronics during interruptions or dips in the mains supply. Radio-frequency interference is reduced by the built-in RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, supporting installations that meet EMC category C1 requirements. The drive includes a standard language pack but has no local control panel, so operation and parameter access must be provided through the connected control system or a compatible external interface. Adaptation B and the B, C0, C1, and mains option positions are unused in this configuration.
