Internal Product Review
The 131B0509 is a Danfoss VLT FC 302 automation drive designed for three-phase power at 380 to 500 VAC. PROFIBUS DP V1 MCA 101 support and an RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter give the drive clean network integration and stable electrical performance. IP20/chassis protection and a 0.75 kW rating make this model a strong choice for compact automation panels.

Product Description:
The 131B0509 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. As a member of the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group, it is installed in cabinet frames A, B, or C to regulate three-phase motors used in conveyors, pumps, and similar industrial equipment. By converting fixed line power into a variable-frequency output, the drive provides precise speed and torque control for automated processes. Its cabinet-oriented design allows the unit to operate as the primary motor-control component in a wide range of industrial systems.
The unit delivers 0.75 kW of continuous power, which corresponds to 1.0 HP at the motor terminals. It accepts a supply range of 380–500 VAC from three-phase power lines, allowing direct connection to common industrial networks without transformers. The IP20 chassis enclosure provides finger-safe protection when the drive is mounted inside a panel, and the normal cabinet-mount arrangement simplifies alignment on DIN rails or backplates. Standard cable entries guide line and control wiring through pre-punched knockouts, while the integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter limits conducted emissions in installations that require basic electromagnetic compatibility. The drive does not include a brake chopper, so external dynamic braking hardware must be added when rapid deceleration is required. A dedicated line disconnect is also not included, and an LCP operator keypad is not supplied with the unit.
Communication with higher-level controllers is provided by the A-slot option card, which uses a PROFIBUS DP V1 MCA 101 interface to support cyclic data exchange and diagnostic messaging. The B, C0, C1, and D slots do not contain option modules, leaving those connections available for a standard system layout. The drive has uncoated circuit boards, so it should be installed in a clean, dry enclosure that protects the electronics from moisture and airborne contaminants. A standard language pack provides multilingual parameter menus for local operation. The internal series identifier is 302.
