Product Description:
The FC-302PK75T is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency three-phase mains power into a regulated output that allows plant controllers to adjust induction motor speed and torque in applications such as conveyors, pumps, and mixers. The unit fits directly into standard control panels and exchanges process data with PLCs through its integrated I/O and fieldbus options, providing closed-loop motor control in industrial automation systems.
This model delivers 0.75 kW of continuous power, equivalent to 1.0 HP, and is intended for three-phase power grids. Its adjustable output extends up to 590 Hz, allowing oversynchronous operation for high-speed spindles, while its starting-torque capacity of 160% for 60 seconds supports heavy breakaway loads. The drive maintains voltage-to-frequency symmetry within a 3.0% phase imbalance and limits power-up cycling to two starts per minute to protect its semiconductors. Analog feedback is processed through a 12-bit converter, digital inputs tolerate up to 28 V DC, and digital outputs supply 40 mA for relays or indicators. VVC+ vector control builds rated flux in 10 ms. In sensorless flux mode, torque steps reach their full value in 1 ms, and the frequency can be raised to 300 Hz without encoder feedback.
Energy performance meets the IE2 efficiency class, and full current is maintained at altitudes up to 1000 m and ambient temperatures up to 45 °C without derating. Cable runs of up to 150 m are supported with shielded conductors, while unshielded installations can use twice that length for remote motor placement on large machines. The inverter tolerates 110% overload torque for 0.5 seconds to handle brief transients. It accepts both shielded and unshielded motor leads, allowing EMC filtering to be matched to site requirements.
