Product Description:
The FC302P45KT5131H5154H2BGXX is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss within the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. The unit converts fixed-frequency three-phase power into a modulated output so that industrial controllers can vary the speed and torque of induction motors. By adjusting the delivered frequency and voltage, it supports energy-efficient operation of pumps, conveyors, fans, and similar equipment on automated production lines.
The drive accepts a 3 × 380–500 V AC ±10% input and processes it through an IGBT inverter that delivers a programmable output frequency of 0–590 Hz, allowing the connected motor to operate across a wide speed range. The inverter output voltage can be adjusted from 0 to 100% of the supply voltage, enabling precise motor magnetization control. An integrated brake chopper dissipates regenerative energy during rapid deceleration or operation with overhauling loads. Control feedback is available through a 0/4–20 mA analog channel, while command signals arrive through digital inputs rated at 0–24 V DC. Two transistor outputs can each supply up to 40 mA for status signaling, and the dedicated pulse input accepts encoder or flowmeter signals at frequencies up to 110 kHz. Flux regulation remains stable from 0 to 300 Hz, supporting controlled motor operation across low and high speeds. The drive also tolerates a supply frequency of 50 or 60 Hz with a variation of ±5% without requiring derating.
The Graphical LCP 102 interface supports local setup, parameter copying, operating-status review, and fault analysis directly at the drive. For electromagnetic compatibility, the unit meets EN/IEC 61800-3 Category 3 and limits conducted and radiated interference in accordance with EN 55011 Class A2. Motor cables may reach 150 m when shielded, allowing the drive to control equipment installed away from the electrical enclosure. An unshielded motor cable may extend up to 300 m when unshielded without requiring an external output filter. A Form C relay rated for 400 V AC at 2 A provides hardwired status signaling to contactors, alarms, or supervisory control circuits.
