Product Description:
Danfoss manufactures the FC-302P4K0T5E20H1BXXXXXSXXXXAXBXCXXXXDX, an AC variable frequency drive in the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. Within the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group, the unit converts constant line voltage to a controllable output frequency so that induction motors can match process demands, minimize energy use, limit mechanical stress, and maintain stable speed under changing loads. The drive suits conveyor, pump, and fan systems where closed-loop speed regulation and integrated safety stop functions are required in automated installations with continuous or variable-duty operation.
The drive accepts a mains supply of 380 - 500 VAC from a three-phase network and is rated for 4.0 kW, which corresponds to 5.0 HP. The drive uses three-phase power, which allows balanced current draw and reduced harmonic distortion, while the chassis-mounted heat sink meets the IP20 / Chassis protection level for installation inside ventilated control cabinets. An onboard RFI filter classified as RFI Class A1/B (C1) limits conducted emissions toward other sensitive equipment in the same installation.
For cabinet integration, the unit ships in the normal cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames format and its printed circuit boards are not coated, so enclosure humidity must stay within IEC limits. Dynamic stopping energy is routed through the integrated brake chopper, eliminating external resistors for moderate-inertia loads. Configuration slots are left blank, with no options installed in the A, B, C0, C1, or D positions, and Adaptation B is set to no adaptation. The dedicated C Option Software slot remains empty, and there is no LCP. Cable entries are standard, the language pack is standard, and the software is supplied in the latest release. No mains option is fitted, so the input connects directly to the line terminals.
