Product Description:
The FC302P11KT5E20H1XXXXXXSXXXXAYB is an AC variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency, three-phase mains power into a controlled output that allows control systems to regulate induction motor speed in conveyors, pumps, and material-handling stations. In addition to providing torque regulation, the drive includes galvanically isolated I/O and a POWERLINK communication slot for direct connection to deterministic Ethernet motion networks without external gateways.
The inverter delivers continuous motor power of 11 kW under rated ambient conditions. An output phase current of 21 A supports typical 400 V motors in the 10 kW class, while the listed no-load current is 27 A. The housing has an IP20 rating, providing finger-safe protection when the drive is mounted inside a ventilated cabinet. Its analog monitor channel uses 12-bit resolution, providing 4,096 discrete steps for feedback scaling. The integrated option slot is prewired for the POWERLINK MCA 123 module, enabling cyclic data exchange with microsecond-level jitter. A factory-installed EMC filter helps the unit meet applicable EN 55011 limits. The drive is supplied without a brake chopper, so an external braking device is required when the application must dissipate regenerated energy.
Standard gland plates accommodate a maximum mains conductor size of 10 mm² (7 AWG). Shielded motor leads may extend up to 150 m, while unshielded leads may extend up to 300 m for connections to distant machine sections. Conducted emissions comply with EN 55011 Class A1/B. The drive has two programmable digital outputs that can switch up to 40 mA at 28 V DC for contactors or status lamps. The digital input block tolerates 50 mA rms, and the printed circuit board surfaces are uncoated. A local control panel is not included, so drive adjustments are performed through a remote keypad or the host PLC.
