Product Description:
The 131B0028 is a variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss as part of the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. The controller converts fixed-frequency mains power into regulated motor output, allowing machinery to accelerate, decelerate, and maintain speed as the load changes. It supports closed-loop motor control for compact pumps, mixers, conveyors, and other automated equipment. Its control functions can improve energy efficiency when an application does not require the connected motor to operate continuously at full speed.
The drive accepts an input range of 380 to 500 VAC and operates with three-phase power, allowing connection to standard industrial feeders within that voltage range. Its motor output is rated at 0.75 kW, which corresponds to a mechanical shaft capability of 1.0 HP. The unit has an IP20 chassis with open ventilation for heat removal, so it must be mounted inside a suitable cabinet that prevents unintended contact with internal components. The drive has no brake chopper, so applications with overhauling loads may require an external method of handling regenerated energy. Supply-side electromagnetic interference is reduced by an internal RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter. No additional line reactor is installed in the mains input section.
The unit supports standard cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames, and its wiring passes through standard gland plates for an orderly enclosure layout. It uses uncoated circuit boards, so the surrounding air should remain free of corrosive vapors and other contaminants that could damage exposed electronics. The drive does not include a local control panel, which means operating commands and parameter changes must be provided through another compatible control interface. Its language package supports standard multilingual menus when an appropriate interface is connected. Accessory slots A, B, C0, C1, and D are empty, and no adaptation option is installed, leaving those positions available for compatible application-specific modules.
