Product Description:
The 131F8849 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It regulates the frequency and voltage supplied to three-phase induction motors, allowing their speed and torque to follow process requirements. The drive is intended for conveyors, mixers, pump stations, and other motor-driven equipment in automated industrial plants. Its normal cabinet-mount configuration supports the installation arrangement used with A, B, and C frames. Standard cable entries provide organized access for power, motor, and control wiring without requiring special routing hardware.
The drive accepts a line supply of 380–500 VAC through a three-phase power input. It converts the incoming electrical energy into a regulated motor output rated at up to 11 kW, providing sufficient capacity for demanding industrial motion and process-control applications. An integrated brake chopper manages regenerative energy produced during rapid deceleration by directing it to a suitable external braking resistor. This arrangement helps control DC-bus voltage when a connected motor returns energy to the drive. The enclosure has an IP20 chassis rating, which protects against accidental contact with internal components when the drive is installed in a ventilated cabinet. Adequate cabinet airflow and installation clearance are necessary to remove operating heat from the power electronics.
Electromagnetic interference is reduced by a built-in RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, supporting installation in environments that require controlled conducted emissions. Commands, operating values, and drive parameters are accessed through the numerical local control panel, which is supplied with the standard language pack. The panel provides a direct interface for entering motor data, adjusting operating settings, and reviewing status information at the cabinet. The printed circuit boards are uncoated, so the drive should be installed in a clean, dry enclosure when dust, moisture, chemical vapor, or other airborne contaminants may be present. The base configuration does not include additional A, B, C0, C1, D, or line-supply option modules, and the Adaptation-B field indicates that no adaptation is applied.
