Product Description:

The 131U3909 Frequency Converter ensures stable operation under varying load and supply conditions. The unit offers flexibility through programmable digital inputs and outputs. It supports both PNP and NPN logic. The reliable performance is maintained with strict supply frequency tolerance and balanced phase requirements.

The supply frequency range of the 131U3909 frequency converter is 50 - 60 Hz with a tolerance of ± 5 %. The maximum temporary mains phase imbalance is limited to 3.0 % of rated voltage. The true power factor is ≥ 0.9 nominal at rated load. The displacement power factor is maintained near unity with values above 0.98. The converter includes four programmable digital inputs with the possibility of six depending on configuration. The supported terminals include 18, 19, 27, 29, 32 and 33. The digital input logic type can be either PNP or NPN. The supported voltage level is 0 – 24 V DC. For PNP logic, logic 0 corresponds to < 5 V DC and logic 1 corresponds to > 10 V DC. For NPN logic, logic 0 is > 19 V DC while logic 1 is < 14 V DC. The maximum voltage on each input is 28 V DC. The input resistance of the digital inputs is approximately 4 kΩ. The cable specifications define the maximum motor cable length at 150 m (492 ft) when shielded or armored.

The digital output section of the of the Danfoss 131U3909 frequency converter provides two programmable digital or pulse outputs. The terminal numbers supported by the outputs include 27 and 29. The output voltage level of the outputs is 0 – 24 V. The maximum output current either sink or source is 40 mA.
