Product Description:
The FC-302P30KT5E21H2BGXXXXSXXXXA4BXCXXXXDX variable frequency drive is manufactured by Danfoss and belongs to the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. Within the wider VLT AutomationDrive FC product group, its internal series identifier is 302, indicating a shared control architecture and mechanical dimensions with related models. The unit converts fixed-frequency mains power into a regulated three-phase output, allowing precise adjustment of motor speed and torque. This control supports conveyors, pumps, and material-handling cells in industrial automation environments. Regulating motor output according to process demand can also reduce unnecessary energy use during partial-load operation.
The drive delivers a continuous output of 30 kW to the motor terminals during steady operation. This output corresponds to a mechanical shaft capability of 40 HP. It accepts line voltages from 380–500 VAC and is designed for three-phase power, allowing direct connection to typical industrial mains without external phase conversion. Its IP21 / Type 1 enclosure is suitable for clean indoor locations where protection from limited dripping water and incidental contact is required. The circuit boards are uncoated, so the drive should be installed away from corrosive atmospheres and excessive airborne contamination. Power, motor, and control wiring passes through standard cable entries that accommodate common metric gland plates. Adequate clearance around the enclosure supports cable routing and access to the connection points.
The A-slot contains a DeviceNet MCA 104 interface, allowing the drive to exchange process and status data with PLCs over a CAN-based fieldbus. Local setup and operation are handled through a Graphical Local Control Panel, which provides access to parameters, operating values, alarms, and diagnostic information through a standard language pack. Regenerated energy produced while the motor decelerates can be managed by an integrated brake chopper connected to a suitable braking resistor. Conducted electrical emissions are limited by an internal RFI filter, helping reduce interference transferred through the mains connection. The drive has no Adaptation B modifications, and the B, C0, C1, D, and mains option positions are empty. This base arrangement leaves the installed DeviceNet interface, control panel, brake chopper, and filtering functions available without additional option modules.
