Product Description:
Danfoss manufactures the FC-302P1K5T5E20H1XXXXXXS201XA0BXCXXXXDX variable frequency drive for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. The device is suitable for installation in protective cabinets that accommodate A, B, or C frame hardware. It converts constant line power into variable-frequency output, allowing precise acceleration and speed regulation of industrial pumps, fans, and conveyors. The drive can also reduce energy consumption when connected equipment operates under a partial load.
The drive delivers 1.5 kW of continuous power, which is equivalent to 2.0 HP. It accepts an input voltage of 380 to 500 VAC from three-phase power lines. Within this input range, its vector control algorithms maintain stable motor torque while limiting harmonic distortion. The unit has IP20 chassis protection, so it must be installed inside a suitable protective cabinet. Conductors pass through the standard cable entry plate included with the base hardware, and no additional mains option module is installed. The host enclosure must provide adequate airflow around the chassis to remove heat during continuous operation.
The factory-installed A slot contains a PROFIBUS DP V1 MCA 101 module, which supports control and diagnostic communication with compatible PLC networks. The remaining option slots are empty, and parameter configuration is performed through an external interface because the drive does not include a local control panel. Electromagnetic compatibility is supported by an integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, which reduces conducted radio-frequency interference. The drive has no brake chopper, so applications requiring dynamic braking must use suitable external equipment. Its circuit boards have no conformal coating and therefore require protection from moisture, conductive dust, and corrosive airborne contaminants. Operating messages use the standard language package associated with the FC 302 series identifier.
