The 131B6479 is a variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss and positioned in the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency mains power into adjustable voltage and frequency for standard AC induction motors. This regulated output allows industrial controllers to vary motor speed and match mechanical performance to process demand in conveyors, pumps, and material-handling systems.
The drive is rated for a continuous motor output of 30 kW, making it suitable for medium-frame machines that need sustained torque without an oversized cabinet. Input conductors may be connected to supplies between 380–500 VAC, so the drive can operate on either 400 V European grids or 480 V North American lines without tap changes. The unit requires three-phase power, which balances current across the mains conductors and reduces the loading placed on each phase. Its IP21 / Type 1 enclosure provides protection against accidental finger contact and limited exposure to dripping water.
