Product Description:
The 131B0498 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss and supplied in the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. As part of the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group, it carries the internal series identifier 302 and regulates the speed of three-phase induction motors used in conveyors, pumps, and small material-handling equipment. By converting constant-frequency mains power into a modulated output, the drive allows automation controllers to match motor torque to real-time load requirements and improve process efficiency. Its compact output range makes it appropriate for auxiliary motor applications in industrial automation systems.
Its power stage delivers 0.37 kW of continuous mechanical output, equivalent to 0.50 HP, making it suitable for tasks that do not demand high horsepower. The input bridge accepts line voltages from 380–500 VAC and is configured for three-phase power, covering the common 400 V industrial supply range without step-down transformers. Conducted emissions are reduced by the integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, allowing the unit to share panels with sensitive instrumentation. Mechanical installation follows the normal cabinet-mount arrangement for A, B, and C frames. The heat sink can be positioned against an enclosure wall while adequate airflow channels are maintained behind closed doors.
The enclosure provides IP20 chassis protection, guarding users against accidental contact while allowing free-air cooling. Network integration is available through the optional PROFIBUS DP V1 MCA 101 card, which supports communication with compatible industrial control networks. Beyond the selected communication card, no additional A-slot or B-slot modules are installed, and adaptation B remains inactive. The control electronics can continue operating through brief mains interruptions when the optional MCB-107 24 V DC backup supply is connected. Standard cable entries simplify conductor routing into the enclosure, while the uncoated printed circuit board is intended for controlled cabinet environments. The drive is supplied without an LCP keypad or brake chopper, and it does not include additional mains filtering or software options.
