The FC-302PK37 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It supplies adjustable voltage and frequency to asynchronous motors used in conveyors, pumps, and compact processing equipment. The drive regulates motor speed and torque to accommodate changing process demands while reducing unnecessary energy use during partial-load operation. Its compact frame is intended for installations that require precise motion control without occupying excessive cabinet space. The control platform supports applications that need stable acceleration, repeatable speed regulation, and efficient torque production.
The power section is rated at 0.37 kW, which is equivalent to 0.50 HP. It can deliver a starting torque of 160% for 60 s to overcome static friction during startup. The inverter produces output frequencies up to 590 Hz, while vector control provides a flux-mode ceiling of 300 Hz. Field-oriented torque develops in 1 ms, and the control platform also refreshes at a 1 ms scan interval to provide a stable response under dynamic loads. Analog references are processed with 10-bit plus-sign resolution, while feedback commands pass through a 12-bit analog output stage. Two digital outputs can each source up to 40 mA, and an auxiliary 24 V terminal supplies up to 200 mA for external sensors.
The drive meets the IE2 efficiency class, and its VVC+ control scheme raises torque within 10 ms to stabilize low-speed operation. Full current output is available at ambient temperatures up to 45 °C, while operation can continue at 55 °C when appropriate derating is applied. Shielded motor leads may extend up to 150 m, providing flexibility when the motor is located away from the control cabinet. Unshielded motor leads may extend up to 300 m when the installation permits that cable arrangement. The controller belongs to Series 302 and uses the parameter structure associated with VLT AutomationDrive FC units. Its diagnostic sampling, analog scaling, and digital timing operate on the same control platform, supporting coordinated signal processing across connected equipment.
