The 131B0199 variable frequency drive is built by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series within the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group. The unit is intended to regulate induction motor speed in conveyors, pumps, and general machinery by converting fixed mains power into a variable-frequency output. In industrial automation, this closed-loop speed control improves process accuracy and can lower energy use compared with direct-on-line starters. Its compact design allows installation in low-voltage control cabinets where mounting space is limited.
The drive supplies a continuous output of 1.1 kW, equivalent to 1.5 HP, so it can operate motors in the fractional to low-kilowatt power range without derating. It accepts an input range of 200 to 240 VAC. Because the power section uses three-phase power, current draw is balanced across the supply lines.
