Product Description:
The FC-302P1K5T5E20H1XXXXXXS001XA0BXCXXXXDX is a variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss as part of the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. As a cabinet-mounted inverter, it converts three-phase mains power into a pulse-width-modulated output so PLCs can regulate induction motor speed instead of relying on mechanical throttling or fixed-speed operation. By adjusting motor frequency and voltage, the unit helps pumps, fans, and conveyors match power demand to real-time process conditions while reducing electrical stress on connected machinery during acceleration, deceleration, and changing load conditions.
The drive has a continuous output of 1.5 kW, which is equivalent to 2.0 HP for small to mid-sized motor loads. It accepts a line supply of 380–500 VAC, and because it is built for three-phase power, no phase-conversion hardware is required. Network integration is provided through an A-option board that supports PROFIBUS DP V1 communication by way of the MCA 101 interface, allowing cyclic setpoint exchange with higher-level controllers in automated systems. An IP20 open-chassis enclosure is intended for installation inside a protective control cabinet where airflow is managed externally and accidental contact with internal live parts is limited by the surrounding enclosure.
Electromagnetic compliance is handled by the RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, so no external suppression components are required. Standard cable glands are provided, and the unit follows the normal cabinet-mount pattern for A, B, and C frames. The boards are not coated, so installation in a clean, dry panel is recommended. Regenerative energy is returned to the mains because the drive has no brake chopper. The optional B, D, C0, C1, C software, and mains slots are empty, Adaptation B is set to no adaptation, and the unit is supplied without an LCP keypad.
