Product Description:
The FC-302P15KT5E21H2BGXXXXSXXXXAXBXCXXXXDX is an AC variable-frequency drive from Danfoss and belongs to the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed mains power into a variable output frequency for speed regulation of induction or permanent-magnet motors in industrial automation cells, conveyors, and process equipment. The unit is suited to applications that need controlled acceleration, stable running speed, and repeatable motor response during normal machine operation. Its compact chassis conserves cabinet space inside the control cabinet.
It delivers 20 HP of mechanical output. The inverter section is rated for 15 kW, which matches the motor duty in this power class. Input terminals accept 380-500 VAC, and the drive is intended for three-phase power. An integrated RFI filter limits conducted emissions on the supply line. The enclosure has an IP21 / Type 1 rating for drip and touch protection in indoor control cabinets. The drive is supplied without a mains option, so upstream protection components must be provided separately. The A, B, and D option positions remain empty, and cable entries use the standard gland pattern. The language pack is set to Standard for immediate English menu access.
A built-in brake chopper diverts regenerated energy to an external resistor bank and helps prevent DC-link overvoltage during rapid deceleration. Parameters are adjusted through the Graphical Local Control Panel, which displays operating values and warnings in real time. The control boards are not coated, so the drive should be installed away from humidity and aggressive chemical exposure. The firmware is supplied at the latest release. Slot C has no software option, while C0 and C1 remain open for future fieldbus or motion cards. Adaptation B is set to no adaptation, so default motor autotune data remains active.
