Product Description:
The FC-302P1K5T5E20H1BGXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXAXBXCXXXXDX is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. Intended for standard cabinet mounting, the unit adjusts the frequency and voltage delivered to an induction motor so that conveyors, pumps, and fans can respond to changing load demands in automated equipment. By converting fixed three-phase mains power into a controlled output, it reduces motor inrush current and energy consumption during continuous operation. The drive also supports regulated acceleration and deceleration, helping connected machinery maintain smooth motion when operating conditions change.
This model delivers a continuous power rating of 1.5 kW, which is the electrical power supplied to the motor terminals under the rated operating conditions. It accepts an input range of 380–500 VAC and uses three-phase power, allowing direct connection to common industrial mains without an autotransformer. Electromagnetic noise is controlled by an integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter. The drive has an IP20 chassis enclosure, which protects against accidental contact with live parts when the unit is installed inside a suitable panel. Standard cable entries and the normal cabinet-mount arrangement support installation with frames A, B, and C. The enclosure remains open to cabinet airflow, allowing internally generated heat to dissipate through the intended ventilation path.
Adaptation B uses the standard configuration provided for general-purpose VLT AutomationDrive FC applications. The mechanical output is also rated at 2.0 HP, allowing comparison with motor data plates that use imperial units. A brake chopper dissipates regenerative energy during rapid deceleration and helps prevent excessive voltage in the internal DC circuit. Local operation is provided through the Graphical Local Control Panel, which gives direct access to operating data and parameter settings without external software. The unit has no mains option, so it connects directly to the appropriate protected feeder. It includes a standard language pack, while its printed circuit boards are uncoated. The 302 series designation places the drive within the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives product line.
