Product Description:
The 134L1672 variable frequency drive is produced by Danfoss within the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. In industrial automation, the unit modulates the speed of three-phase induction motors so conveyors, pumps, and process fans can operate according to changing process demands without mechanical dampers or gear changes. Its cabinet-mounted design allows placement near PLC or motor control center equipment, while its shared frame layout supports integration with other components in the drive system. The drive regulates motor voltage and frequency electronically, providing controlled acceleration, deceleration, torque, and operating speed for a range of industrial machinery.
The drive operates from 380–500 VAC supplies and accepts three-phase power for direct connection to standard plant mains. Its continuous output is rated at 3.0 kW, corresponding to a motor output of 4.0 HP. The IP20 chassis enclosure provides basic protection against accidental contact with internal components, while airflow inside the surrounding cabinet removes operating heat. The unit fits normal cabinet-mounting positions for compatible A, B, and C frames. Because the drive does not include a brake chopper, rapid deceleration requires an external method of handling regenerated energy. It is also supplied without a dedicated mains disconnect or local control panel, so operating commands and parameter adjustments must be provided through remote controls or connected automation equipment.
The A-option slot contains a PROFINET MCA 120 interface, providing real-time Ethernet communication with compatible industrial controllers. The integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter helps limit conducted radio-frequency interference and supports compliance with applicable electromagnetic compatibility requirements. Cable entry uses standard cable glands supplied for the frame, helping organize power, motor, and control wiring at the enclosure. The drive has uncoated electronics, so it should be installed in a dry cabinet that is protected from condensation, corrosive vapor, and persistent high humidity. Its standard language pack supports the normal interface options available for the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group. The internal series identifier is 302, which places the unit within the FC 302 platform used for advanced motor control applications.
