Product Description:
The 131B0026 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss within the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. Designed for cabinet integration, the unit converts fixed-frequency three-phase power into a regulated output that allows precise speed and torque control of induction motors used in fans, pumps, and conveyors. By electronically modulating motor voltage and frequency, the drive replaces mechanical throttling devices in industrial automation, improving energy efficiency and process accuracy across manufacturing and HVAC installations.
The drive accepts a supply range of 380 to 500 VAC, so it can be connected directly to common industrial networks without a step-down transformer. It operates on three-phase power, which balances loading across utility lines and helps limit conductor size. The inverter delivers a continuous shaft output of 0.37 kW for smaller motors used in light-duty process equipment. Its IP20 chassis protection makes live parts finger-safe, but the drive requires an enclosure that shields its electronics from dust and liquids. This enclosure should also provide adequate clearance around the drive for cable routing and heat dissipation during continuous operation.
For mechanical integration, the drive uses normal cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames, allowing attachment to common enclosure backplates. Conductors enter through standard cable glands, and the internal RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter suppresses high-frequency emissions on the power leads and motor cables. The uncoated printed circuit boards make the unit suitable for clean, low-humidity locations where condensation and airborne contaminants are controlled. Regenerative braking energy must be managed externally because the design includes no brake chopper. The accessory slots for Options A, B, C0, C1, and D are left blank, as are the mains option and LCP port.
