Product Description:
The 131B9057 variable frequency drive is produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It provides closed-loop speed control for standard AC induction motors used in conveyors, pumps, material-handling systems, and general industrial machinery. By varying the voltage and frequency supplied to the motor, the drive regulates speed while maintaining the torque needed for changing process demands. Its control architecture also supports distributed automation systems in which motor operation must respond accurately to commands from a central controller or local process equipment.
The drive accepts a mains supply of 380–500 VAC. Its input uses three-phase power, making the unit suitable for common industrial electrical systems within that voltage range. The inverter provides a continuous motor output of 0.75 kW, which corresponds to a mechanical shaft capability of 1.0 HP. An IP20 chassis enclosure protects against accidental contact with internal components while allowing ventilation through the housing. Because this enclosure does not provide protection against water, the drive is intended for installation inside a clean, dry electrical cabinet. Standard cable entries simplify the routing of mains, motor, and control wiring, while the uncoated printed circuit boards require protection from condensation, conductive dust, and corrosive airborne contaminants.
Parameter access is provided through the Graphical Local Control Panel, which presents operating information and configuration menus directly at the drive. A standard language pack supports the panel interface without requiring an additional display accessory. The C0 slot contains the MCO-305 (SyncPos) motion option, enabling synchronized positioning functions for coordinated machine movements. The drive does not include a brake chopper, so applications that generate substantial regenerative energy must use a suitable external braking or energy-management arrangement. Electromagnetic interference is reduced by an integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, helping limit conducted emissions through the mains connection. Cabinet installation uses normal cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames, allowing the chassis to fit the corresponding enclosure layouts while maintaining the clearances required for wiring and airflow.
