Product Description:
The FC-302N132T5134G9606H2BGXXXXSXXXXAXBXCXXXXDX drive is produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It is a cabinet-mounted AC variable frequency converter that modulates motor voltage and frequency so plant controllers can match motor speed to process demand. Its closed-loop vector algorithms maintain accurate torque at very low rotor speeds. Integrated logic supervises torque, ramp times, and braking energy, allowing the drive to replace mechanical throttling devices and reduce energy use in industrial pumping, ventilation, and material-handling systems.
With a 400 V-class supply, the inverter delivers a rated output of 132 kW while drawing up to 251 A from a mains input range of 380 to 500 VAC. The power section can generate carrier-based output frequencies up to 590 Hz, while its flux-control path supports frequencies up to 300 Hz. These limits establish the usable speed range for high-pole or dynamically derated motors. During startup, the current-regulated algorithm supplies 160% of nominal torque for 60 s. An internal brake chopper safely dissipates regenerative energy during deceleration.
Torque commands have a flux rise time of 1 ms, allowing rapid correction after load changes. For variable-torque loads, the drive can provide 110% output for 0.5 s without causing a thermal trip. Continuous full-load operation is permitted at an ambient temperature of 45 °C, and the unit can operate at temperatures up to 55 °C with proportional derating. The displacement power factor exceeds 0.98, while the true power factor remains at or above 0.9 to minimize upstream transformer loading. Shielded motor cables may extend up to 150 m, while unshielded cable runs may extend up to 300 m. A front-mounted LCP 102 keypad provides local access to operating parameters and supports multiple languages.
