Product Description:
The 131F0437 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. Within that platform, it carries the internal series identifier 302 and belongs to the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group. The unit converts fixed-frequency mains power into a variable-frequency output that allows pumps, conveyors, and other industrial loads to operate according to changing process demands. By regulating the connected motor’s speed and torque, the drive can support accurate process control and reduce unnecessary energy consumption. Its automation-oriented design makes it suitable for industrial applications that require adjustable motor operation, responsive load control, and integration with machine control systems.
The drive supports systems with up to 50 HP of mechanical output and has a continuous power rating of 37 kW. Its input section accepts 380–500 VAC from a three-phase power supply, making it compatible with common industrial distribution systems. The IP20 chassis enclosure is intended for installation inside a suitable indoor electrical cabinet that protects the equipment from moisture and debris. Setpoints, operating values, and drive parameters can be accessed through the integrated graphical local control panel. Standard cable entries simplify the routing of power and control wiring during installation. The drive does not include a brake chopper, so applications that generate substantial regenerative energy may require an appropriate external braking arrangement. Its option slots are empty, allowing compatible accessories to be selected according to the control and communication needs of the machine. Standard mounting hardware is included for cabinet installation.
An integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter reduces conducted electromagnetic interference returned to the supply and helps the drive meet applicable installation requirements. The heat sink arrangement supports normal cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames, allowing the unit to fit the intended switchgear layout without unusual depth or height accommodations. Adequate clearance around the heat sink is still necessary to maintain cooling airflow and prevent excessive internal temperatures. The drive has uncoated control boards, making it best suited for clean, dry electrical rooms with controlled humidity. Locations exposed to corrosive gases, chemical vapors, condensation, or persistent moisture may require a drive with coated electronics or additional enclosure protection. The baseline configuration does not include preinstalled application-specific accessories, so the required communication, feedback, or control modules can be chosen for the intended machine.
