Product Description:

The 134F4969 variable frequency drive is built by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency mains power into a modulated output so that three-phase induction motors can operate at commanded speeds and torque levels. By matching motor operation to process demand, the unit supports precise flow control, conveying, and mixing tasks in industrial automation. Its variable-speed output can also reduce unnecessary motor operation when an application does not require full capacity.

The drive accepts a supply of 380–500 VAC from a three-phase power network and can deliver up to 3.0 kW, which is mechanically equivalent to 4.0 HP. A built-in brake chopper routes regenerative energy to the braking circuit during rapid deceleration or controlled stopping events. Coated printed circuit boards protect the control circuits from condensation and airborne contaminants. Heat is managed through the cabinet-mounted chassis, while standard cable entries simplify the gland-plate layout and conductor routing. The enclosure has an IP20 chassis rating, making live parts finger-safe while requiring installation inside a ventilated cabinet for additional protection from dust and moisture.

The A slot contains a PROFIBUS DP V1 MCA 101 interface for fieldbus control and communication with an automation system. The C0 slot contains an MCO-305 SyncPos module that supports electronic gearing and position synchronization. Control electronics remain active during short mains interruptions through the D-slot MCB-107 24 VDC backup supply. Conducted emissions are reduced by the integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, which supports cabinet-level electromagnetic compatibility requirements. The language pack, cable entry, and mains-option settings retain their standard factory configuration. These settings provide the default operating arrangement without adding unsupported adaptation hardware to the drive.
