Product Description:
The FC-302P15KT5E20H1XGXXXXSXXXXALBXCXXXXD0 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. The unit is designed for cabinet mounting inside machine panels, where it converts fixed-frequency mains power into a regulated output for controlling motor speed and torque. Its precise speed regulation supports automated production lines, pumping stations, and material-handling equipment that require repeatable motion profiles. Variable-frequency operation can also reduce energy consumption when the connected motor does not need to run continuously at full speed.
The drive has a rated output of 15 kW, which corresponds to 20 HP and allows the inverter to operate medium-sized induction motors without derating. It accepts an input range of 380–500 VAC and uses three-phase power, so it can connect directly to a compatible industrial supply without phase conversion. Fieldbus connectivity is provided by the PROFINET MCA 120 A-option card, enabling communication with compatible automation controllers over an industrial Ethernet network. The open B-option slot and unused C0 and C1 option slots leave room for supported expansion modules if additional functions are required.
The drive fits standard A, B, and C cabinet frames, and its IP20 chassis protection is suitable for installation inside a sheltered electrical enclosure. Standard cable entries simplify routing through the gland plate, while the uncoated printed circuit board is intended for dry operating areas. Electromagnetic interference is managed by an integral RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, which helps limit conducted emissions when the drive is installed correctly. The unit does not include a brake chopper, so applications requiring dynamic braking must use an appropriate external arrangement. During a power interruption, the MCB-107 24 V DC backup board keeps the control electronics energized when a suitable backup supply is connected. A graphical local control panel provides direct access to operating data and parameters from the cabinet door, and its standard language support assists with routine drive configuration and monitoring.
