Product Description:
The FC-302PK37T5E20H1BXXXXX variable frequency drive is produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It belongs to the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group and serves as a speed-control element in industrial automation by converting fixed-frequency mains power into a pulse-width-modulated output for induction motors. By adjusting motor speed instead of relying on mechanical throttling, the unit helps conveyors, pumps, and fans align torque with real-time load profiles. This method can reduce energy consumption and limit mechanical wear in continuous-duty machinery.
The power section is rated for 0.37 kW, making the drive suitable for fractional-horsepower machinery. The input accepts 380–500 VAC from a three-phase power supply, allowing direct connection to compatible industrial feeders. A built-in brake chopper diverts regenerated energy to an external resistor during rapid deceleration. Standard cable entries simplify power and control wiring, while the integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter reduces conducted electromagnetic emissions. The drive has no factory-installed mains option, so it does not include an integrated disconnect or mains fusing. It is also supplied without a local control panel, so parameter access requires a compatible remote interface or an added control panel.
The mechanical format supports normal cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames. Its IP20 chassis enclosure is intended for installation inside a ventilated control panel and protects against contact with hazardous internal components. The cabinet must provide suitable ventilation, installation clearances, and protection from direct exposure to water or excessive dust. The control boards are uncoated, so the installation area should remain free from aggressive moisture, condensation, corrosive vapors, and conductive contaminants. Suitable cabinet conditions help protect the electronics while allowing the drive to dissipate heat during continuous operation. The standard cable-entry arrangement keeps incoming mains, motor, and control conductors organized within the available mounting space.
