Product Description:
The 131B0016 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. Within an automation cell, it converts fixed-frequency mains power into regulated output that allows a controller to adjust induction motor speed. This capability helps pumps, fans, and conveyors match their speed to changes in flow, pressure, or production demand. The drive is intended for compact cabinet installations where electronic speed regulation and integrated motor protection are preferred over mechanical throttling methods.
The drive provides a continuous output of 0.55 kW, which is equivalent to 0.75 HP and is suitable for small motors. It accepts an input supply ranging from 380 to 500 VAC with three-phase power, making it compatible with common industrial power systems. An integrated brake chopper manages regenerated energy during controlled deceleration and helps prevent excessive DC bus voltage. The base configuration uses the standard control and input arrangement without additional expansion cards. Standard parameter structures support motor setup, acceleration and deceleration ramps, operating limits, and protective functions. The compact power section regulates motor voltage and frequency in response to commands from the connected automation system.
The IP20 chassis protection helps prevent accidental contact with internal electrical parts but does not provide liquid sealing. The drive should therefore be installed inside a suitable vented control cabinet with adequate airflow and protection from moisture. Conducted electrical interference is limited by the built-in RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, supporting connection to compatible low-voltage networks. The uncoated control boards require placement away from high humidity, condensation, corrosive vapors, and excessive airborne contamination. The unit supports normal cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames, while standard cable entries accommodate routine power, motor, and control wiring. A detachable local control panel is not included, so operating commands and parameter access must be provided through another compatible control interface. The standard language package and default AutomationDrive control profile are retained for menu organization and operating behavior.
