Product Description:
The FC-302P4K0T5E20H2BGXXXXSXXXXAXBXCXXXXDX is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss within the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency mains electricity into a variable-frequency, variable-voltage output for controlling compatible AC motors. This capability allows production equipment to adjust motor speed and torque according to changing process demands rather than operating continuously at full speed. The drive can connect with PLC-based control systems used for conveyors, pumps, fans, and other automated machinery.
The inverter delivers 4.0 kW, which corresponds to 5.0 HP of motor output. It accepts an input voltage range of 380 – 500 VAC from three-phase mains power. The IP20 chassis protects against accidental contact with internal components but does not provide protection from water, so the drive must be installed inside a suitable ventilated cabinet. An integral RFI filter reduces conducted radio-frequency interference on the incoming supply lines. The included brake chopper supports connection to an external braking resistor, allowing regenerated energy from motor deceleration to be dissipated as heat. This arrangement supports controlled stopping when the connected load returns energy to the DC bus.
The graphical local control panel provides direct access to operating data, status information, and adjustable parameters through a visual menu. Its standard language pack supplies the menu text needed for local setup and routine operation. The drive supports the normal A, B, and C cabinet frame formats, while standard cable entries simplify routing through the cabinet gland plate. Its printed circuit boards do not have a conformal coating, so the installation area must remain free of condensation and excessive airborne contamination. Line-side fuses and disconnecting equipment must be provided externally because the drive does not include an integrated mains option. The option slots retain the base configuration, and Adaptation B remains unchanged from the factory profile.
