Product Description:
The 131L7577 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts constant-frequency three-phase mains power into a regulated output for controlling compatible induction motors. Variable output frequency and voltage allow plant control systems to adjust motor speed and torque in response to changing process demands. In automated conveyors, pumps, and mixers, the drive serves as the power interface between digital control logic and the connected motor.
The drive has a rated motor output of 22 kW, which is equivalent to approximately 30 HP. It accepts an input supply ranging from 525–690 VAC and is designed for three-phase power. The IP21 / Type 1 enclosure protects internal components against contact with fingers and vertically dripping water, making the unit suitable for general-purpose indoor control locations. A built-in brake chopper manages regenerative energy during rapid motor deceleration by directing that energy to a compatible braking resistor. The integrated radio-frequency interference filter reduces conducted electrical emissions that could affect nearby control and communication equipment. Coated printed circuit boards help protect the electronics from moisture, dust, and airborne contaminants encountered in industrial environments. These protective and power-management features support operation in demanding applications that use higher-voltage electrical networks.
The C1 slot contains an MCB-113 extended relay card, which provides additional changeover contacts for external signaling and control functions. The D slot contains an MCB-107 24 V DC backup module that keeps the control electronics energized during short interruptions or dips in the mains supply. Maintaining control power can preserve communication and operating status while the main input is temporarily unavailable. A front-mounted graphical local control panel provides access to operating data, parameters, alarms, and drive commands through a visual interface. Power and control wiring pass through standard cable entries that accommodate commonly used metric cable glands and support organized routing into the enclosure. The unoccupied expansion positions remain available without adding unsupported communication or control functions to the installed configuration.
