Product Description:
The FC-302P1K5T5E20H2BXXXXXSXXXXANBXCXXXXDX is an AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts incoming AC power into a controlled output for regulating the speed and torque of three-phase induction motors. This capability supports precise motion in automated conveyors, pumps, material-handling systems, and other industrial machinery. A connected PLC can issue operating commands and monitor drive data, allowing motor performance to respond to changing process demands. Closed-loop control can also help maintain stable operation when the motor load or commanded speed changes.
The power section accepts an input range of 380–500 VAC from a three-phase power supply. It provides a continuous motor output of 1.5 kW, which corresponds to approximately 2.0 HP. Network communication is provided by an EtherNet/IP MCA 121 interface installed as the A-option card. This connection supports high-speed cyclic data exchange with compatible industrial controllers without requiring an additional communication gateway. Standard cable entries simplify routing through the cabinet gland plate, while the integrated radio-frequency interference filter reduces conducted electrical emissions. The drive uses its core configuration without the omitted B, C0, C1, and D extensions, making those optional functions unavailable on this model.
An internal brake chopper controls regenerated energy during rapid motor deceleration and routes it to a compatible braking resistor. The enclosure has an IP20 chassis protection rating, so the drive must be installed inside a suitable electrical cabinet. Its circuit boards are not conformally coated, making the unit better suited to clean and temperature-controlled indoor locations without excessive moisture or airborne contaminants. The drive is supplied without a local control panel, so operation and parameter access depend on connected control equipment or a compatible external interface. Standard mounting frames in sizes A, B, or C support installation within suitable cabinet layouts. The built-in radio-frequency interference filter helps control mains-borne noise, while the absence of mains-side option hardware leaves external supply conditioning dependent on the requirements of the installation.
