Product Description:
The FC-302P18KT5E21H1XXXXXXSXXXXA0BXCXXXXDX is an AC drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency mains power into an adjustable motor output for speed and torque control in automated machinery. The regulated output allows a connected motor to follow changing process demands in conveyors, pumps, material-handling systems, and production equipment. Its control platform supports coordinated operation where accurate motor response and repeatable speed regulation are required.
The drive provides a continuous output of 18.5 kW, which corresponds to 25 HP. Its input section accepts 380–500 VAC from a compatible industrial supply and uses insulated-gate switching to regulate the voltage delivered to the motor. Operation with three-phase power makes the unit suitable for common industrial distribution systems. The IP21 / Type 1 enclosure protects against contact with internal components and vertically falling water droplets, but installation in a suitable electrical cabinet is still required. The drive does not include a brake chopper, so regenerative energy produced during rapid deceleration must be handled by suitable external equipment or by the connected system. No mains-side option module is installed. The configuration is also supplied without an LCP or B, C, D, and C0 option cards, and no adaptation is applied.
Network communication is provided through PROFIBUS DP V1 MCA 101, allowing cyclic commands, operating data, and diagnostic information to be exchanged with a compatible PLC. Motor, supply, and control conductors enter the enclosure through standard cable glands, which support organized routing inside the cabinet. Electromagnetic emissions are limited by an integral RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, helping reduce conducted interference on the incoming supply. Proper shielding and grounding should be maintained when routing communication and motor cables near other electrical equipment. The unit has uncoated printed circuit boards, so it should be installed in a clean, dry, low-humidity cabinet that limits exposure to dust, condensation, and corrosive contaminants. The standard language resource pack is included for the available user interface functions.
