Product Description:
The 134N9663 is a variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. Inside an automation cell, the unit converts constant-frequency mains power into a regulated output that follows the real-time torque and speed demands of induction motors. This control supports conveyors, pumps, material-handling systems, and other process equipment that requires adjustable motor operation. Closed-loop regulation allows the drive to respond to feedback from the connected system and maintain stable performance as operating loads change.
The drive accepts a supply range of 380–500 VAC and operates from three-phase power, making it suitable for common industrial electrical systems. Its output capacity is rated at 11 kW, which corresponds to 15 HP for compatible mid-sized motors. The chassis has an IP20 protection rating, so it is intended for installation inside a suitable control cabinet that prevents exposure to water and small foreign objects. Standard cable entries simplify the routing of power, motor, and control wiring during panel assembly. An integrated radio-frequency interference filter reduces conducted electrical noise that could otherwise affect equipment connected to the same supply network. A conformal coating protects the low-voltage circuit boards from airborne moisture and contaminants. The cabinet-mounted format is compatible with the normal A, B, or C frame arrangements used for this drive platform.
A built-in brake chopper manages regenerated energy during rapid deceleration, helping prevent excessive voltage on the internal DC bus. The detachable Graphical Local Control Panel provides access to operating parameters, trend information, status displays, and local start-stop commands. Its removable design allows the interface to be positioned for convenient access while preserving the drive’s compact cabinet arrangement. Field devices connect through the MCB-101 General Purpose I/O board, which adds digital and analog channels for sensors, commands, and machine interlocks. Control logic can remain active during a loss of mains power when the drive is supplied through the MCB-107 24 V DC backup module. This backup capability allows communication and control functions to remain available while the primary power circuit is inactive. The included standard language pack supports menu navigation and parameter access through the local control interface.
