The 134H1203 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. Within an automated production line, the drive converts fixed-frequency mains power into a modulated output that allows a controller to regulate motor speed without mechanical throttling. This capability supports controlled acceleration, deceleration, and continuous operation in conveyors, pumps, fans, and other motor-driven equipment.
The drive accepts a mains input range of 380–500 VAC supplied through three-phase power. At this input, the inverter provides a motor output of 0.55 kW, which corresponds to 0.75 HP for fractional-horsepower motors used in auxiliary machinery. The enclosure has an IP20 chassis rating, so the drive must be installed inside a suitable electrical cabinet that prevents unintended contact with internal components. The design does not include a brake chopper and instead relies on the upstream system to manage regenerative energy produced during motor deceleration. A normal cabinet mount for A, B, and C frames supports conventional panel installation and allows air to move across the heat sink. Standard cable entries accommodate gland plates commonly used in industrial control cabinets. A factory-installed RFI filter reduces conducted electrical interference on the mains connection. The circuit boards do not have a protective coating, making the unit appropriate for dry enclosures without condensation, corrosive gases, or excessive airborne contamination.
Network communication is provided through an EtherNet/IP MCA 121 interface, allowing the drive to exchange commands, operating data, and diagnostic information directly with compatible PLC networks. The configuration has no adaptation and does not include B, C0, C1, or D options, leaving the corresponding expansion positions unpopulated. A standard language pack is included for software-based parameter access and drive configuration. The unit does not have an LCP handheld keypad, so parameters are adjusted through the fieldbus connection or compatible PC software. Mains-side accessories are not included with this configuration and must be provided separately if the installation requires them. Cable routing, grounding, and cabinet clearances should follow the requirements for the selected frame and panel arrangement.
