Product Description:
The FC-302P7K5T5E20H1XGXXXXSXXXXAXBXCXXXXDX is a variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It regulates the frequency and voltage supplied to an induction motor, allowing connected control systems to adjust motor speed and torque in response to operating demand. This functionality supports controlled acceleration, deceleration, and steady-speed operation in pumps, blowers, conveyors, and other automated machinery. The drive can receive commands from a PLC or building-management controller and apply them through its motor-control functions.
The drive operates from a mains supply ranging from 380–500 VAC and uses three-phase power. Its output is rated at 7.5 kW, which corresponds to 10 HP of motor power. This output capacity is suitable for medium-sized motors used in centrifugal and material-handling equipment. The IP20 chassis protects against accidental contact with hazardous internal parts but does not provide protection against water, so the unit should be installed inside a suitable control cabinet. The drive does not include a brake chopper, and applications with substantial regenerative energy require an appropriate external braking or energy-management arrangement. Standard cable entries route incoming power, motor, and control conductors through the cabinet gland plates.
An integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter limits conducted electrical interference on the mains connection. Proper grounding, shield termination, cable selection, and installation practices are still required to maintain electromagnetic compatibility within the completed system. User interaction is provided through a graphical local control panel, which displays operating values, status messages, alarms, and adjustable parameters in the standard language pack. The housing supports normal cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames, allowing it to fit common panel arrangements while maintaining the required ventilation clearances. The control boards do not have a protective coating, so the enclosure should remain dry and clean and should prevent exposure to conductive dust, condensation, chemical vapor, and corrosive airborne contaminants. The internal RFI filter and cabinet-oriented chassis support installation near other industrial control equipment when the recommended separation between power wiring and signal wiring is maintained.
