Product Description:
The FC-302N315T5136H9470H2BGXXXXSXXXXAXBXCXXXXDX is an AC variable frequency drive built by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. Within the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group, this unit uses pulse-width modulation to convert fixed three-phase mains power into variable-voltage and variable-frequency output, allowing precise regulation of induction motor speed, torque, and direction without mechanical gear changes. The drive is intended for high-power conveyor lines, pumps, and fans where coordinated motion and energy savings are important to overall machine performance.
Rated to deliver 315 kW at the output terminals, the drive accepts a supply of 380–500 VAC and generates a programmable output of up to 0–590 Hz. Output voltage can be adjusted from zero to 100 percent of the incoming mains voltage. A starting torque reserve of 160% for 60 seconds supports heavy-load breakaway, and its short-term overload capacity reaches 110% for 0.5 seconds during transient process peaks. Internally, the brake chopper uses the 810 V DC link to dissipate regenerated energy. The control generates a high-voltage warning at 828 V DC and an overvoltage alarm at 855 V DC. Flux mode operates from 0 to 300 Hz for field-oriented control, and only one power-up cycle is permitted every two minutes to protect the capacitors. With a true power factor of at least 0.9, the converter maintains efficient current draw while supporting output voltage modulation for process control.
The drive is designed for three-phase power networks operating at 50/60 Hz ± 5%. It maintains a displacement power factor above 0.98 to limit reactive current demand. Continuous full-load operation is permitted at ambient temperatures up to 45 °C, provided adequate cabinet airflow is maintained. The unit can withstand symmetrical RMS fault currents of 100,000 A when protected by properly rated upstream circuit breakers. Because the C1 option is not installed, an external radio-frequency interference filter is required for category C1 compliance. The standard language pack provides multilingual parameter menus for configuring drive functions and viewing operating information.
