Product Description:
The 131B1067 is an AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss and supplied through the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. As a closed-loop inverter, it converts fixed-frequency plant power into a regulated motor output, allowing precise adjustment of speed and torque. This control supports induction and permanent-magnet motors used in conveyors, pumps, and general material-handling equipment within industrial automation. The drive can respond to changing process demands while maintaining controlled acceleration, steady operation, and repeatable stopping. Its design allows the motor output to be adapted to the operating requirements of connected machinery rather than remaining tied to the incoming line frequency.
This model provides a continuous shaft output of 7.5 kW, which corresponds to 10 HP. The rectifier and DC link accept a mains supply of 380–500 VAC, allowing connection to common factory power systems without an autotransformer. The drive accepts three-phase power, enabling balanced loading across the utility bus and helping limit harmonic distortion. Its enclosure carries an IP54/Type 12 N3R rating, protecting the internal electronics from airborne dust and splashing water encountered in production areas. Electromagnetic compatibility is improved by an integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) network, which attenuates conducted emissions on the low-voltage side. These electrical and enclosure features support installation near operating machinery when the applicable ventilation and clearance requirements are observed.
User interaction is handled through a graphical local control panel, which provides parameter access and real-time operating readouts without external tools. Dynamic deceleration energy is directed to a built-in brake chopper, permitting rapid motor stops while helping prevent DC-bus overvoltage. The power boards have no protective coating, so the drive should be installed in an atmosphere free from corrosive gases and excessive chemical contamination. Standard cable glands are supplied with the unit to support organized cable entry and maintain the intended enclosure protection when installed correctly. The option slots remain empty, allowing compatible motion or fieldbus modules to be added later without removing factory-installed option components. Proper enclosure placement and clean ambient air are especially important because the uncoated circuit boards have less protection against moisture and corrosive airborne substances.
