Product Description:
The FC-302P11KT5E20H1XGC is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. Installed in control cabinets, the unit links directly to PLCs to adjust induction motor speed in pumps, fans, and material-handling lines. By generating variable output frequency from a constant input supply, it regulates motor speed and torque for process control. This supports automation tasks that need adjustable acceleration, steady running speed, and repeatable response under changing load conditions.
The power section accepts an input range of 380 – 500 VAC on a three-phase power network, so it matches common 50 Hz or 60 Hz plant services without external transformers. Continuous output capability is rated at 11 kW, equivalent to 15 HP, giving the drive headroom for mid-sized centrifugal loads. The integrated DC link does not use a brake chopper, so excess energy during stopping is returned to the grid instead of being dissipated in resistors. Conducted emissions are limited by the factory-installed RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, which helps reduce electromagnetic interference in suitable installations. This combination supports use in cabinets that feed standard industrial motors from a shared plant supply.
The chassis carries a IP20 / Chassis protection level, allowing installation inside ventilated enclosures where direct finger protection is sufficient. Parameter entry is performed through the Graphical Local Control Panel, a backlit interface that provides operating readouts and access to stored parameter sets. Circuit boards use a coated finish to resist moisture and airborne contaminants, which is useful in humid production zones. The drive uses normal cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames, so the same mounting approach applies across multiple frame sizes in the 302 series. These features suit enclosed panel installations where airflow, operator access, and compact mounting all matter.
