The FC-302P30KT5E20 is an AC variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. Within an automation cell, the unit regulates the voltage and frequency supplied to an induction motor, allowing the motor speed to follow changing process demands instead of remaining tied to the mains frequency. This control supports variable-speed operation in conveyors, pumps, fans, and other continuous-duty industrial equipment. When connected to a PLC and suitable motor feedback devices, the drive can respond to control commands while maintaining the required speed or torque under changing loads.
The drive has a rated motor output of 30 kW, which is equivalent to 40 HP. Its input section accepts a supply range of 380–500 VAC and operates with three-phase power, allowing connection to common industrial power systems within that voltage range.
