The 131B0586 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency power into a controlled output waveform so a PLC can regulate the speed and torque of an induction motor. This functionality supports variable-speed operation in pumping, conveying, ventilation, and other automated machinery. The drive uses the electrical and mechanical format of the FC 302 platform, allowing it to be integrated into factory power systems and standard control cabinets.
Continuous motor output is rated at 0.55 kW, providing suitable capacity for fractional-kilowatt machinery without requiring an oversized cabinet supply. The input section accepts 380 to 500 VAC from a three-phase power supply. Communication is handled through the A-slot, where a PROFIBUS DP V1 MCA 101 module exchanges setpoints, operating data, and diagnostic information with higher-level controllers. The drive includes an RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter to reduce conducted electromagnetic emissions and limit the need for additional filtering hardware.
