Product Description:
The FC-302P7K5T5E55H1XGXXXXSXXXXALBCXXXXDX is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss within the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. The drive converts fixed-frequency three-phase mains power into a regulated output that matches motor load demand, permitting electronic speed control without mechanical throttling. In automated plants, it can coordinate pumps, fans, conveyors, and other material-handling motors. Its regulated output helps maintain process accuracy while reducing unnecessary power consumption when the connected motor operates below full speed.
The unit delivers 7.5 kW, or approximately 10 HP, of continuous power for compatible medium-frame induction motors. It accepts line supplies from 380–500 VAC using three-phase power, and it does not require an internal transformer within this voltage range. The three-phase topology distributes current across the supply conductors, helping control cable heating when compared with an equivalent single-phase arrangement. The electronics are installed inside an IP54/Type 12/N3R enclosure, which protects internal components against dust and splashing liquids. A brake chopper is not installed, so applications with rapid deceleration or regenerative loads may require an appropriate external braking arrangement. Standard cable entries accommodate metric gland plates, and the drive is supplied without a mains disconnect or adaptation module. The uncoated printed circuit boards should be installed away from corrosive moisture and chemically contaminated air.
Network control is provided by the PROFINET MCA 120 option card, allowing the drive to exchange commands, operating data, and diagnostic information with compatible industrial control systems. Conducted and radiated emissions are limited by the integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, supporting installations that require controlled electromagnetic interference. Parameters are entered and monitored through the Graphical Local Control Panel, whose backlit display improves readability in equipment rooms and control cabinets. A standard language pack is preloaded to provide accessible menu navigation and status messages. The Safe Stop function can disable torque production when it is integrated with a suitable machine safety circuit. The absence of a mains module and Adaptation B equipment reduces the number of internal accessories and leaves the standard wiring arrangement intact.
