Product Description:

The 131B0510 Automation Drive maximum rated output power capability of 75 kW and its ability to sustain 11 kVA at 400 volts provide capacity for large scale machinery. This Danfoss drive flux optimized control mode supports frequencies up to 300 Hz. It achieves a 95% conversion rate and its built in electromagnetic compatibility filter ensures compliance with strict internal standards.

The 131B0510 Drive can smoothly accelerate or decelerate its motor over an extremely wide range of time from as low as 0.01 second up to 3600 seconds. It has a true power factor value of 0.9 which indicates it is designed to use electrical power efficiently with minimal wasted current. It is working at its highest intended capacity and only about 54 watts are lost as heat. It allows the motor to be turned on and off repeatedly without restrictions. It steadily consumes about 16 amperes during continuous operation within 380 to 440 volts voltage range. It is able to feed the motor with any voltage level between 0 and full line value which enables fine tuning of torque and speed. It has a phase angle of 0.98 between voltage and current which means the electricity supplied to it is almost entirely doing useful work.

This 131B0510 Drive can operate reliably on either of the common utility supply standards such as 50 Hz or 60 Hz. The drive can handle current equivalent to 25.6 A for brief periods which allows it to cope with sudden heavy loads without damage. Its shaft is expected to deliver about 0.75 kilowatts of mechanical energy which is suitable for smaller industrial or automated processes. It can tolerate minor differences of up to 3 percent in voltage between the three incoming power lines.

Frequently Asked Questions about 131B0510:

Q: What does the 75 kW rating on the 131B0510 Automation Drive indicate?

A: It represents the maximum mechanical power the drive can deliver to the connected motor. This makes it capable of supporting heavy-duty industrial equipment and larger machinery.

Q: Why is the ability to sustain 11 kVA at 400 V important?

A: It shows the drive can reliably handle high apparent power during continuous use. This ensures stable performance and prevents overload on the electrical supply system.

Q: How does the flux-optimized control mode help this drive?

A: By adjusting the magnetic flux, it boosts motor torque output, especially at lower speeds. This allows smoother motion and better energy utilization.

Q: What is the benefit of 95% conversion efficiency?

A: It means almost all incoming electrical energy is turned into useful power rather than wasted as heat. This reduces operating costs and increases overall system reliability.

Q: Why does the 131B0510 Drive support such a wide acceleration/deceleration time range (0.01–3600 s)?

A: The broad range provides flexibility for both rapid starts/stops and gradual speed changes. This minimizes mechanical stress and adapts to different process needs.
