Product Description:
The 131B0510 is an AC variable-frequency drive from Danfoss that belongs to the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It is supplied to machine builders that need speed and torque control for induction or permanent-magnet motors in automated lines, conveyors, and pump skids. By translating fixed mains power into a regulated three-phase output, the unit maintains motor efficiency while the control system adjusts process flow.
The drive accepts a mains voltage range of 380 – 500 VAC and is designed for three-phase power, so it connects directly to standard plant distribution panels. Its continuous mechanical output is rated at 0.75 kW, which is equivalent to 1.0 HP. The chassis has an IP20 protection rating, allowing installation inside a ventilated cabinet where protection against accidental finger contact is sufficient. Filtering against conducted emissions is provided by an RFI Class A1/B (C1) line filter, enabling compliance with electrical noise limits in residential and light industrial areas. Standard cabinet mounting is supported for A, B, and C frame sizes, and the cable entries simplify the gland plate layout. A brake chopper is not fitted, so a dynamic braking resistor cannot be wired directly to this model.
Slot A contains a PROFIBUS DP V1 MCA 101 interface for remote parameter access and cyclic setpoint exchange. Slot D contains an MCB-107 24 V DC backup board that keeps the control stage active if mains power fails. The printed circuit assemblies have an uncoated finish, making the drive better suited to dry indoor locations than to areas with chemically aggressive contaminants. Slot B has no adaptation, while slots C0 and C1 remain empty for compatible application modules or additional electromagnetic compatibility cards. The drive includes the standard language pack but does not include a local control panel. The build uses series identifier 302 within the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group.
