The 131B0708 frequency converter is a long-lasting Danfoss Automation device that can be used for the intelligent, user-friendly, and direct control of various industrial applications, including synchronous and asynchronous motor series. The converter has a metallic enclosure with a small size designed according to the IP20 classification and can be easily mounted inside a control cabinet. There is a three-phase connection interface present on this converter; the mains connection voltage for the product is between 380 to about 500 volts. The rated power output produced by motors connected to this product is estimated to be about 7.5 kilowatts. There is no brake resistor attached to this product; however, customers are advised to externally equip the converter with one, as it will help prevent the over speeding of connected motors. The brake resistor also plays a major role in dissipating the surplus electrical energy produced by the motor during deceleration.
