Product Description:
The 131B0130 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. As a member of the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group, it regulates the speed and torque of three-phase motors used in automated machinery. The drive is designed for cabinet mounting and is compatible with the mounting arrangements used for A, B, and C frame sizes. Its normal mounting position places the heat sink against the enclosure wall, which supports efficient heat transfer and simplifies airflow management within the control cabinet.
The drive accepts a supply voltage of 380–500 VAC and is designed for three-phase power networks. At the motor terminals, it can deliver 4.0 kW of continuous electrical power, which corresponds to 5.0 HP. This output capacity supports moderate-duty pumps, blowers, conveyors, and other motor-driven equipment that requires adjustable speed or torque. The chassis has an IP20 chassis rating, which protects against accidental contact with hazardous internal components but does not provide protection against water. The unit must therefore be installed inside a suitable ventilated control cabinet. Its heat sink and internal thermal paths direct operating heat toward the cabinet airflow, helping the power electronics remain within their operating temperature limits under continuous load.
The drive does not include a brake chopper, so regenerated energy is not dissipated internally through a braking circuit. Conducted-emission control is provided by an integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, eliminating the need for a separate filter module in suitable installations. Environmental durability is improved by the use of coated circuit boards, which help protect electronic components from moisture and airborne contaminants. Operator interaction is provided through a graphical local control panel mounted on the front of the drive. This panel provides access to operating information, parameter settings, status messages, and diagnostic data without requiring a separate display. Wiring enters through standard cable openings that support organized routing for supply, motor, and control conductors. The unit carries the product identifier 302 within the AutomationDrive platform.
